Not a comment on Chris’ writing, which I highly enjoy, but on the vids. Am I the only one bothered by 1. the VHS tape saying rewind, but actually showing a fast-forward(!?), and 2. that it’s a VHS?! If this was an award for visual media, sure. But why not show an old Sony reel or some other piece of recording media used for music? I know VHS was used for ADAT, but those clips are pre-ADAT. Ok...enough bitching for one session lol.
Wow! Graphs and everything!!! Impressive. I’d have liked to see a purple one for Prince, or at least a stand out purple stripe in an otherwise blue chart!
